Ruth M. Hamilton
Ruth M. Hamilton, 91, of Bradenton, died Feb. 24.
Born in Saginaw, Mich., Mrs. Hamilton moved to Manatee County in 1976. She was a member of the Key Royale Club, Midland Country Club, Germania Club, Saginaw Culture Club and Memorial Presbyterian Church, all of Michigan. She was a member of the Palma Sola Presbyterian Church, Bradenton.
Visitation was Feb. 27. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by sons William Klumpp and wife Sharon, and Wayne Hamilton and wife Lynn; daughter Wendy Randnovich and husband Tom; sister Lucile Merritt; three nieces; two grand-daughters; and caregivers Lisa Beach and Chris Spence.
Thomas R. Hannan Jr.
Thomas R. Hannan Jr., 91, of Bradenton, died Feb. 20.
Mr. Hannan moved to Manatee County from Lima, Ohio, in 1977. He was owner of Hannan’s Seafood Restaurant. He was a basketball coach for Limo St. Rose High School, Lima St. Gerard High School, Lima Central Catholic School, and Lima Bath High School. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge.
A memorial Mass was March 1 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Sarasota. Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 26th Street Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by sons Thomas R. III of Sarasota and James and Steven, both of Bradenton; daughters Sandra Johnson and Carol Kitkowski, both of Bradenton, and Patricia Podany of Holmes Beach, and Kathleen Steveick of Cumming, Ga.; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Helen Mary Klocek
Helen Mary Klocek, 88, of Bradenton, died Feb. 19.
Born in Connellsville, Pa., Mrs. Klocek moved to Manatee County 24 years ago. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Holmes Beach.
Visitation was Feb. 29 at Covell Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bradenton. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Meinrad Archabbey, Attention Brother Angelo Vitale, 100 Hill Drive, St. Meinrad IN 47577.
She is survived by daughters Nicola Greenberg and husband Lewis and Michele Garnes and husband Larry.
