Robert J. Campbell
Robert J. Campbell, 77, of Anna Maria Island, died Jan. 27.
Born in Springfield, Pa., Mr. Campbell moved to the Island from Aston, Pa., in 1993. He was retired after 44 years as vice president at Keystone Printing Inc Co. in Philadelphia, Pa. He graduated from Springfield High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served in Alaska and was later called back as a U.S. Army Reservist to serve in the Korean War. He was active in coaching various sports for his children and enjoyed golf and travel.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Roser Memorial Chapel, 512 Pine Ave., Anna Maria. A memorial Mass for family was held Feb. 4 at St. Joseph's Church, Aston, Pa. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Kathleen; children Michael, Robert Jr., Brian and Colleen Muckel of Pennsylvania, Maureen Brennan of Florida, and Kathleen of Texas; sister Margaret of Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
