Jan. 29, 606 N. Shore Drive, information. An officer interviewed a man who said his live-in girlfriend borrowed his truck and did not bring it home. He said he telephoned his girlfriend several times and she said she’d bring the truck back. While searching for the vehicle, the officer found it at the man’s apartment. The officer made contact with the man, who said everything was fine.

Jan. 26, 5351 Gulf Drive, theft/shoplifting. An officer was dispatched to Niki’s Island Treasures in reference to a prior theft. The victim stated that between noon and 5 p.m. someone took two rings valued at $117, a pink cameo valued at $55, and a sand-dollar pendant valued at $60. The victim said she realized the items were missing when she found the empty boxes.
