A Bradenton Beach man was arrested Sept. 14 for attempting to sell police officers what was described as fake hashish.
Arrested was James Stanley Self, 54, a transient, for sale of fake hashish.
According to Detective Sgt. Lenard Diaz, the fake hash turned out to be "something on the order of glue and sawdust."
The concoction was alleged by the suspect to be 56 grams of hash, Sgt. Diaz said.
During his arrest, Self shouted that the drugs were fake and that he had made it himself.
Self was charged with sale of a substance in lieu of a controlled substance, Diaz said. |
