Bradenton Beach
Sept. 1, 102 Second St. N., Tingley Memorial Library,
warrant arrest. Officers found a man sleeping on the
steps of the library and, after a record check, found
the man was in violation of probation for boating under
the influence. He was arrested and taken to jail.
Sept.
8, 1800 Gulf Drive S., Coquina Beach, driver’s
license. While on patrol, officers stopped a vehicle
with an expired California license plate and, after
a record check, determined the driver did not have
a driver’s license. He was arrested and taken
to jail.
Sept. 9,
Coquina Beach, burglary. The complainant said someone
entered her locked vehicle and took $4 and a debit
card.
Sept. 11,
1300 block Gulf Drive South, criminal mischief. The
complainant said someone poked holes in a wall-mounted
air-conditioning unit, causing the Freon to leak out.
Damage was less than $1,000.
Holmes Beach
Sept. 10, 5700 block Marina Drive, lost property.
The complainant said she had lost her passport.
Sept.
10, 2900 block Avenue E, battery. The complainant said
her husband had physically injured her after a verbal
altercation. He was charged with domestic violence
and taken to jail.
Sept. 11, 400 block
28th Street, burglary of vehicle. The complainant said
someone attempted overnight to break into his car,
which was parked in his driveway. A bent clothes hanger
was found next to the car. Entry was not made, though,
and there was no damage to the vehicle. |
