Bradenton Beach woman busted for burglary

Bradenton Beach Police arrested Cheryl Marie DeGarmo, 47, of 611 Gulf
Drive N., at approximately 5:30 a.m. Sunday on charges
she committed burglary of an occupied dwelling.
According to the arrest
report, police were dispatched on a prowler call to
104 Fourth St. N., Bradenton Beach.
Police met with John Howard at the residence,
who told them he heard a loud banging noise underneath
his balcony.
According to police, Howard saw Cheryl DeGarmo outside
near his bicycle and when DeGarmo noticed Howard, she fell to the ground.
He said she fell several times while leaving his property.
Howard then showed the police that his bicycle rear
tire was slashed.
Police
then went found DeGarmo at her residence, where she
appeared from the side of the building, panting heavily and wearing a
black bathing suit, according to the report. Her legs had dirt on them
with bloody scratches on the ankles and knee, police said, and she was
arrested. |
