No opposition for Anna Maria incumbents — yet
Only the three incumbent Anna Maria city commissioners have picked up
election packets to qualify for the Nov. 6 elections
to the commission.
As of Friday,
Sept. 7, according to the Manatee County Supervisor
of Elections Office, only current commissioners John Quam, Dale Woodland
and Christine Tollette have claimed election packets. Woodland and Tollette
have qualified for the election, while Quam is expected to qualify this
week.
Qualifying packets are available
at the Anna Maria City Hall, but must be filed with
the elections office in downtown Bradenton.
Candidates have until Sept. 18
to file their papers and be certified by the Manatee
County Supervisor of Elections Office. |
