Anna Maria City

June 6, 300 block Pine Avenue, theft. The complainant said someone took lawn equipment from her trailer.

June 6, 200 block Palm Avenue, burglary. The complainant said someone took her cordless telephone.

June 8, 200 block Chilson Avenue, theft. The complainant said someone took her wrist watch valued at $1,200 from her bedroom.

June 8, 200 block Chilson Avenue, criminal mischief. The complainant said someone punctured two of the tires of her rental vehicle and threw fruit on it while she was attending a charity function.

June 8, 200 block South Bay Boulevard, aggravated assault. The complainant said his neighbor threatened him with a sword.

 

Bradenton Beach

June 2, 500 block Gulf Drive North, disturbance. Officers responded to a report of a man attempting to commit suicide in his car at Cortez Beach. The man was located with a razor blade in his hand and a cut wrist. Officers called paramedics, who treated the man and placed him in Manatee Glens under the Baker Act.

June 5, 2600 block Gulf Drive, assault. The victim said unknown men pointed a gun at him and demanded his cell phone and wallet while he was walking down the street. He told them he did not have a cell, but handed over $50. The two men left in a faded, red two-door car.

June 7, 200 Gulf Drive N., BeachHouse Restaurant, possession of controlled substance. Officers were called on a report of a man who appeared to be passed out in his vehicle in the parking lot. The man was awakened by officers. He appeared to be incapacitated, according to reports. After searching the vehicle, officers confiscated a small amount of marijuana and pills. Peter Gregory Lavallee, 22, of Bradenton, was arrested on drug charges.

June 8, 200 block Church Avenue, criminal mischief. The complainant said someone broke a glass door at the rear of her residence.

June 9, Cortez Beach, burglary. The complainants said they saw a man in their vehicle on returning from the beach and when confronted, he ran away. The defendant had taken a class ring from the vehicle, which was recovered by one of the complainants as police arrived. The defendant, a juvenile, was taken to the juvenile center.

June 12, 2100 block Avenue B, theft. The complainant said that the suspect took eight to 10 large orchids from his backyard. The suspect was confronted with the charge, which he refuted. There was no sign of the plants at the suspect’s house. He was arrested.

 

Holmes Beach

June 5, 300 block 63rd Avenue, burglary. The complainant said someone broke into his home through a bathroom window and took change from a large plastic bottle and a pistol.

June 5, 500 block 59th Street, violation of domestic injunction. Officers responded to a call of a man who had entered a residence after being issued a domestic injunction order. He was arrested.

June 7, 5100 block Gulf Drive, Marchman Act. Officers responded to a call of a woman who was passed out beside the road. She was determined to be intoxicated and was placed into custody. She became belligerent and was booked under the Marchman Act and taken to jail.

June 7, 500 block 74th Street, theft. The complainant said someone took two bicycles from his carport.

June 7, 4000 Gulf Drive, Manatee Public Beach, theft. The complainant said that someone took his bicycle from the beach.

June 8, 500 block 56th Street, theft. The complainant said someone took the propeller from his boat overnight.

June 8, 2900 block Avenue E, assault. The complainant said the male passenger in her car became enraged when he was told he couldn’t drive and, when she threatened to call police, he snatched her cell phone and threw it. He was arrested on domestic violence charges.

June 8, 100 block 81st Street, theft. The complainant said someone took her unsecured bicycle.

June 11, 200 block 75th Street, theft. The complainant said someone took three fishing rod and reels with a total value of $460 from his house.

June 12, 7400 block Palm Drive, burglary. The complainant said that someone took his backback, containing approximately $4,210 worth of computer equipment, from his unlocked truck overnight.

June 12, 4200 Gulf Drive, Gulf Sands condo, criminal mischief. The complainant said that he believed three youths damaged a fence, with a total damage value of $10.
