April 24, 100 block Tarpon Street, grand theft. The complainant said that someone took his pool cleaning device from his pool, which was valued at $400.
Bradenton Beach
April. 16, 100 block Bridge Street, violation of probation. Officers stopped a man suspected of having outstanding warrants. After a record check, he was arrested.
April 20, 201 Gulf Drive, Oma’s Restaurant, possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol. Officers observed a person in a car parked at the restaurant throw a beer can from the vehicle. A search of vehicle produced what was later tested to be marijuana. Arrested were Danny Hernandez, 19, of Bartow, Sonia Hernandez, 19, of Bartow, and Marcos Hernandez, 19, of Fort Meade, on alcohol and marijuana charges.
April 20, Cortez Beach, warrant. Officers observed a car parked at the beach after hours and, after a record check, determined the driver had an outstanding warrant. She was arrested.
April 20, 200 block Bridge Street, warrant. Officers responded to a call and determined an employee had an outstanding warrant and was arrested.
April 23, 2500 block Gulf Drive, theft. The complainant said someone took $340 from his wallet.
Holmes Beach
April 19, 5300 Gulf Drive, criminal mischief. The complainant said someone damaged the phone system in the lobby of the condominium.
April 20, 400 block 29th Street, burglary. The complainant said someone broke into her rental apartment, but did not remove anything.
April 20, 3600 block at the beach, beverage law. Officers observed a woman drinking from a beer can. She was later found to be a juvenile with four cans of beer in her purse, and issued a notice to appear for the offense.
April 21, 6400 block Flotilla Drive, theft. The complainant said someone took her bicycle, valued at $266.
April 21, 3200 E. Bay Drive, theft. The complainant said an employee left in the middle of her shift and had not closed out her cash register, which contained an estimated $25.
April 22, 5600 Marina Drive, battery. The complainant said a man in another vehicle stopped in front of her car, approached her, then struck her. She drove to the police department to report the incident. The man, estimated to be approximately 70 years of age, was not located.
April 23, 4700 block Gulf Drive, driver’s license. After being contacted by Bradenton Beach officers, Holmes Beach officers stopped a man who did not have a valid driver’s license and had illegally altered his license plate. He was arrested and his vehicle towed.
April 24, 700 block Key Royale Drive, suspicious. While on patrol, officers stopped a man driving a pickup truck for driving at slow speed. The driver said he was collecting scrap metal from garbage. He was issued a citation for improper equipment. |
