William 'Bill' Seavy
William "Bill" Seavy, 83, of Bradenton, died April 10.
Born in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Mr. Seavy moved to Manatee County in 1924. He was co-owner of C&S Builder’s Supply. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Bradenton Country Club. He served on the Manatee County Zoning Board. He was a member of the Dirty Dozen, Florida Lumberman’s Association, and he was a Conquistador. He was a member of the West Bradenton Baptist Church.
Memorial services were April 13 at the church. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by wife Carolyn Christianne; daughters Cheryl Johnson of Bradenton and Sarasota, Diane of Bradenton, Melissa Thorndike of Westwood, Mass. and Jennifer Pratt of Waynesville, N.C.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. |
