The 40th Anna Maria Island Kiwanis Club-sponsored Easter Sunrise Service at the Manatee Public Beach was attended by more than 2,000 persons. The event included participation by all six Island churches, music and an offering that is divided equally among the ministries. The Rev. Tidemark seeks court approval for further credit

Embattled Tidemark Partners LLC, developers of the Tidemark hotel and condominium project in Holmes Beach, has asked the federal bankruptcy court in Tampa to approve a $130,000 loan from Southstar Development Partners of Coral Gables to allow the company to continue operating for the next three months.
