March 21, North Bay Boulevard, footbridge over Lake La Vista channel, information. A woman riding her bike over the footbridge reported she fell and injured her leg.

March 24, 200 block of Oak Avenue, burglary. Two tennis rackets were reported stolen from the owner's laundry room.

Bradenton Beach

March 16, 3000 block of Gulf Drive, traffic arrest. According to the report, a man backed his vehicle into another car twice and then drove away. Officers stopped the driver, who reportedly did not have a valid driver's license, insurance or registration.

March 21, 1400 block of Gulf Drive South, Cortez Beach, drug arrest. Jerome Lantigua, 20, of Kissimee, was arrested for possession of marijuana. According to the report, the officer approached Lantigua to tell him the beach was closed and saw him attempt to dispose of a rolled marijuana cigarette.

March 21, 1200 block of Gulf Drive South, Cortez Beach, drug arrest. Michelle Waldo, 32, of Sarasota, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. According to the report, Waldo was found passed out and partially undressed in her parked car after closing hours by officers. According to the report, Waldo was in possession of prescription pills that a poison control official identified for the officer as "speed."

March 23, 1700 block of Gulf Drive South, driver's license. A driver was stopped for excessive noise from a car radio. According to the report, the driver did not have a valid license and was wanted for failure to appear on two Manatee County warrants and a Hillsborough County warrant for theft and arrested.

Holmes Beach

March 19, 2900 block of Avenue E, burglary. A man reported his wallet stolen from his vacation rental.

March 19, 4000 Gulf Drive, Manatee Public Beach, DUI. Joshua Gurley, 22, of Bradenton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol with damage to another vehicle. According to the report, Gurley and another driver backed their vehicles into each other while leaving the parking lot. The accident investigation also showed that Gurley was driving without a license, insurance or registration. According to the report, Gurley is currently on probation for a previous DUI charge.

March 21, 300 block of 62nd Street, dog bite. A man reported that his dog bit his neighbor on the hand when she tried to pet it. According to the report, the dog was a stray dog the owners recently took in and it had not yet been taken to a veternarian for rabies shots.

March 22, 3210 East Bay Drive, Paradise Bagels, theft. According to the report, a juvenile stole money from the tip jar near the cash register. Another customer tried to stop the juvenile from leaving but was reportedly pushed out the door as the juvenile ran away.

March 22, 6200 Flotilla Drive, tennis courts, warrant arrest. Officers received an anonymous report of a suspicious person hiding behind the bushes at the tennis courts. Officers found and arrested the man on an outstanding felony warrant for violating his California parole.

March 23, 6900 Gulf Drive, Bali Hai Resort, theft. A man reported his compact discs and five-inch knife stolen from his vehicle.

March 25, 500 block of 69th Street, theft. Fifteen bags of landscape mulch nuggets were reported stolen.

March 24, 4000 Gulf Drive, Manatee Public Beach, impound. According to the report, a vehicle was impounded for blocking another vehicle that was parked at the public beach.

March 24, 500 block of 74th Street, theft. A man reported his handgun missing from the glove box of his truck.

March 25, 3800 block of East Bay Drive, assault. A man was arrested for domestic assault because he reportedly threatened his former wife, grabbing her by the shirt collar and pushing her while she attempted to remove her things from their home.
