Dec. 1, 2600 Gulf Drive N., Anna Maria Island Club condominium, theft. A vehicle tag was reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked in the condo garage.
Dec. 6, 2503 Gulf Drive N., Club Bamboo, theft. Ten chairs were reportedly stolen from the front of the property.
Holmes Beach
Dec. 3, 2900 Gulf Drive, Anchor Inn, DUI/drug arrest. William Easton, 49, of Bradenton, was stopped for a noise violation due to the stereo volume of his moving vehicle. He was given a field sobriety test, which he reportedly failed and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol. He reportedly consented to a vehicle search that resulted in an additional charge for possession of drug paraphernalia when the officer conducting the search found a marijuana pipe and small amount of marijuana.
Dec. 4, 4700 block of Gulf Drive, expired tag. A driver was stopped for illegally passing the vehicle in front of her, which was making a left turn. The driver was given a warning for the traffic violation, but her vehicle tag was expired and due to the fact that her license was also suspended the tag was seized and the vehicle towed. |
