Stan C. Kolinski
Stan C. Kolinski, 74, of Holmes Beach and Greenbush, Wis., died Nov. 10.
Born in Chicago, Ill., Mr. Kolinski has been a winter resident of the Island since 1997. He was retired. He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin. He was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Private services will be held in Chicago on Nov. 20. Memorial contributions may be made to Florida West Coast Symphony, 709 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota FL 34236.
He is survived by companion Virginia Horne; daughters Kim Larson of Northbrook, Ill., and Kathy Basler of Carbondale, Ill.; sons Mark of Forestville, Wis., Matt of Rockford, Ill., and Kris of Kewaunee, Wis.; sister Barb Gere of Prospect Heights, Ill.; brother Robert of Des Plaines, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
Gladys K. Nielsen
Gladys K. Nielsen, 99, of Bradenton and formerly Anna Maria Island, died Nov. 12.
Born in Evansville, Ind., Mrs. Nielsen came to Manatee County from Vero Beach in 1994. She was an insurance agent and owner of Beardsley & Nash Insurance Agency in Clewiston. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul The Apostles Catholic Church, Bradenton.
Visitation and services were Nov. 14. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Island Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by sister Evelyn Nash of Bradenton; nephew Jeff Nash of Anna Maria; and niece Terryll Sauls of Tallahassee.
William 'Irish Bill' Reisiger
William "Irish Bill" Reisiger, 66, of Anna Maria Island, died Oct. 31.
Mr. Reisiger was a longtime Bradenton resident until moving to the Island. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Memorial services will be held at a later time.
He is survived by daughter Heather Oplinger and three grandchildren.
Florence E. Snyder
Florence E. Snyder, 80, of Bradenton Beach, died Nov. 10.
Memorial contributions may be made to Moose Lodge, 110 Gulf Drive, Bradenton Beach FL 34217. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by daughters Judy Menchek, Cathy Vives, Mary Snyder and Nancy Oshman, all of New Jersey; and five grandchildren. |
