William August Diesing
William August Diesing, 91, of Petersburg, Mich., and Holmes Beach, died Nov. 6.
Born in Royal Oak, Mich., Mr. Diesing was a lifelong potato farmer and member of the farm bureau. He was a member of the St. Peters Lutheran Church, Petersburg, Mich., and Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Holmes Beach. He was a member of the Holmes Beach Men’s Club.

He is survived by wife Margaret; sons Glenn and wife Joyce, and Keith and wife Bonnie, all of Petersburg; daughters Diane Saylor and husband Bill of Petersburg, Linda Moga and husband Daniel of Houston, Texas, and Janet Zeimis and husband Greg of Bradenton; daughter-in-law Terry Kennedy and husband Mike of Petersburg; sisters Etta Horkey of Dundee and Ellen Kiley of Sheby Township, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Helen M. Begalla
Helen M. Begalla, 90, of Evergreen, Colo., and a winter resident of Anna Maria Island, died Nov. 3, in Denver, Colo.
Mrs. Begalla was born in Davenport, Iowa, and she and husband Joseph J. lived in Youngstown, Ohio, and Rocky Mountain Village, Colo. They were residents of West Middlesex, Pa., until 1976, when they retired to Orlando.
A memorial service for family and friends in the Denver area was held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Evergreen, Colo. Her ashes will be interred at St. Bernard Catholic Church following a service to be announced later this year. Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Christian Outreach, P.O. She is survived by son Joseph J. Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Denver, Colo., and Anna Maria; and grandchildren Jane Hartgrove of Denver, J. Peter of Deland, Fla.; son-in-law, David J. Stewart of Denver; seven great-grandchildren; and sister Genevieve Alban of Anna Maria.
