Oct. 16, 800 block North Shore Drive, information. The complainant said that someone made multiple charges to her credit cards without her permission. The complainant said she would provide further information once the credit companies provided her with more information regarding the charges.
Oct. 21, 800 block Bay Blvd., burglary. The complainant said someone had removed a number of items from his vacation home while he was away.
Oct. 22, 100 S. Bay Blvd., City Pier, criminal mischief. Unknown persons damaged the pier, painting one bench red. The deck and a light pole were also painted with graffiti.
Bradenton Beach
Oct. 20, 100 Gulf Drive N., Circle K, drug arrest. Officers were called to the scene when to a man attempted to use a stolen credit card. Officers got a description of the vehicle and located it in the 8600 block of Cortez Road West. A record check of the driver, Juan C. Gonzalez, 49, of Bradenton, indicated his license was suspended. A search of the vehicle produced cannabis, cocaine and paraphernalia. He was arrested.
Oct. 21, 100 block First Street North, battery. The complainant said an ex-friend of her son had attacked him. She admitted to striking him. Statements were taken by all and forwarded to the state attorney’s office.
Oct. 21, 100 Gulf Drive N., Circle K, drug arrest. Officers responded to a call of a noise violation of an unattended vehicle. When the driver returned to the vehicle, officers approached and noticed a strong smell of cannabis coming from the vehicle. The vehicle, owned by Harry Michael Holmes Jr., 22, Palmetto, was searched and police discovered cannabis, paraphernalia, scales, cocaine and $155. A record check also revealed that Holmes’ driver’s license was suspended. He was arrested.
