Sept. 23, 1600 Gulf Drive South, Coquina Beach, no driver’s license. Officers noticed a vehicle in the bus turn-around area, which is posted for buses only. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license, no tag was assigned to the vehicle, the plate did not belong to the the vehicle, and the driver was arrested and taken to jail.
Sept. 27, 2500 Avenue B, warrants. Officers stopped a vehicle and, after a record’s check, discovered the driver had two outstanding warrants. The driver was taken to jail.
Sept. 30, 2700 block Gulf Drive, criminal mischief. The complainant said someone had sprayed graffiti on a storage unit and the side of the house
Sept. 30, 200 block 68th Street, theft. The complainant said someone took her husband’s bicycle from their home.
Oct. 1, 3902 Gulf Drive, West Coast Surf Shop, theft. The complainant said someone took a red canoe, valued at $500, from the side of the business. Officers identified the canoe as being recovered earlier in the summer, but it was destroyed after the legal 90-day holding period, according to the report.
Oct. 2, 5100 block Fifth Avenue, burglary. The complainants said numerous items were missing from their rented apartment. Officers observed an unlocked door at the rear of the apartment. A canvass of the neighborhood produced no information. According to the report, jewelry, wine, beer and clothing were missing.
