Rubble
Demolition of Anna Maria Elementary School's former building began Jan. 16 and, according to Principal Kathy Hayes, is progressing smoothly. The rumble of bulldozers is surprisingly muffled by the new soundproof building and staff on the bayside of the building note that they can't hear the work crews at all from inside their classrooms.
