Special to The Islander Christine Morgan, 18 Bradenton Beach Police arrested Christine Morgan, 18, of 2200 block Avenue B, after she held what police said was an open house party where up to 40 underage youths were drinking beer. According to the report, police responded to a call at about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 12 and found Avenue B blocked with cars parked on the road near Morgan's residence. Officers could hear loud voices coming from the home and could see 30-40 kids inside the house and in the back yard, according to the report, as well as people holding beer cans in the house. Police knocked on the door for 8 to 10 minutes before Morgan responded. When asked her age, she said she was 18. When asked if there were people there drinking alcohol under 21, Morgan responded, "Yes, but they were not driving home," according to the report. Morgan was arrested for knowingly having a party at which alcohol was being served to minors.
